Our school opened in 2002 and is a clean, modern facility.
We have two large playing areas for our students which
include swings, climbing apparatus, slides and open spaces
for soccer and paved areas for basketball.
Our school offers a technology rich learning environment,
bright well appointed classrooms, and a well-equipped
gymnasium. Our library has a large inventory of books for
our students to borrow.
Mission Statement
Elmsdale District School is a primary to grade five school
whose mission is to guide students to their full potential
by providing a quality educational program.
The school values a positive learning environment that
promotes high expectations for student achievement. It is
through a variety of teaching strategies that students gain
the necessary skills to be successful. In order to
accomplish these goals we believe that teaching and
learning are the responsibility of students, teachers, and
parents that the school atmosphere is non-threatening and
that recognition of success within the school community is
important.
